8036 Copper Trail

I have set up this page for you to see the work done to the tub drain. The marble around the tub had to be removed to make it possible to remove the tub. After removing the tub the tar and concrete had to be removed to be able to replace the plumbing at the pee-trap below. The hole had to be filled with sand and covered with tar to prevent rodents from coming up through the slab opening. Move the tub back into place and reattach the new drain and flex vent/over flow. Finally put the marble back in place and patch the sheetrock. Plug the drain line and leak test both tub and shower. The drain was stopped up with some roots. The roots were removed and the tub and shower put back in service.
